Q: Why should I subscribe, when other sites are free?
A: Good question! Potential employers pay fees to place listings on generic and specialized websites; costs can run into the thousands of dollars. Many smaller organizations with great jobs available do not always have the resources to place costly advertisements. We capture many more jobs by simply not waiting for employers to list with us. We have nationwide dedicated personnel that utilize our proprietary H & G database software that incorporates various job listings. In addition, after being in business for over 20 years, we have an extensive network of contacts with Human Resource groups, Professional Organizations, Educational Institutes, Recruitment Agencies, and other nationwide sources that allow us to find many more jobs and make them available to our subscribers. We focus 100% on Food, Nutrition and Dietetic related career opportunities.


Q: Can I post my résumé?
A: We are implementing the new website in Phases, with Phase 1 being full automation and real time job listings. Phase 2 will encompass the ability to post your resume; we expect this new feature to be available by mid- summer 2008.


Q: How do I use Pay Pal when subscribing?
A:For those of you that already have a Pay Pal account, you simply use your existing account. For subscribers who do not have a Pay Pal account, it is very simple. You fill out the information on the Pay Pal screen and submit. Pay Pal is FREE, fully encrypted for security and, once you set up your Pay Pal through Jobs in Dietetics, you will no longer have to re-enter your basic information (I.E. address, etc.) every time you subscribe. The only information you will need to repeat is which credit card you will use and the card number. NOTE: although you are not required to use Pay Pal, it is a great service for those of you who have an existing account or would like to sign up!


Q: Are you a Recruitment Agency?
A: We do assist potential employers with the recruitment process. There is no fee to our subscribers for this. If an organization or company contracts with Jobs in Dietetics for specialized recruitment services, we let our subscribers know first, before we look outside.


Q: Are you a Recruitment Agency?
A: Yes; Jobs in Dietetics does conduct specialized recruitment services for a fee. Our fees are generally lower than other recruitment companies and we offer various payment options as well.


Q: Do you track statistics on your Subscriber base?
A: Yes. We NEVER give out any information on our subscribers, but we do have confidential tracking methods of where our subscribers are located and how many times they utilize our service.


Q: How do I post a job?
A:Our Home Page www.jobsindietetics.com gives you the option to post a job. Once you access the link, you simply fill in the required fields and enter the description. The maximum number of characters in the description field is 3000. Once you have reviewed your listing, simply click SUBMIT and your job is posted to the online database. For a screenshot of your posting, you must enter an e-mail address. There is a designated e-mail address line on the List Jobs page..


Q: How long does my job listing stay on Jobs in Dietetics?
A: Your job posting will be removed after 60 days unless you advise us sooner. Before we remove a listing, we will attempt to contact you to see if the job is still open. If the job remains available, we can refresh the date as a new listing.
